About Us

The ladies of we:plan, Paola Melle and Roberta Gollini, have a distinct passion for creative and extraordinary weddings in Italy. Their passion started back in 2004 when they first met at Laboratorio delle Idee (Lab of the Ideas) one of the most important communication agencies in Bologna.

Featured in such national publications as Sposa Bella, Marie Clarie, Il Corriere della Sera and Il Resto del Carlino, and organizing events such as exhibition on Elisabetta Sirani (for Gruppo La Perla), “Marconi Prize for Innovation in Information and Communication Technology” from Columbia University awarded to the founders of Google, the 52nd and 53rd edition of Prix Italia (an international radio, television and web competition), the promotion of the Italian Association “Friends of National Museum of Women in the Arts of Washington. They take pride in their long-standing experience in organizing weddings and providing helpful advice on planning and execution, and have proven their success in the city of Bologna.

Paola Melle
Before launching we:plan in 2007, Paola spent seven years as Event Manager for Laboratorio delle Idee planning and coordinating some of the most important recent cultural events in town – e.g. “Marconi Prize for Innovation in Information and Communication Technology” awarded to the founders of Google, the 52nd and 53rd edition of Prix Italia (an international radio, television and web competition), the promotion of the Italian Association “Friends of National Museum of Women in the Arts of Washington”

Along the way she has gained an understanding of what makes a wedding truly special: attention to detail matched with creativity, sensitivity to the needs and wishes of the clients, and the insider’s knowledge of la dolce vita.

A graduate of The University of Bologna, Paola represents we:plan’s “blue spirit”, being the perfect combination of creativity and precision. Determined, reassuring, with an eye for detail, she never loses track of her goals.

Roberta Gollini
Before joining Paola with we:plan, Roberta promoted and organized events for different public and private entities. She has worked with Dino Gavina with Simongavina one of the most important people in the artwork of urban style furnishings. Most recently she worked for Laboratorio delle Idee, a communication agency in Bologna where she met Paola.

A graduate of The University of Bologna, Roberta represents we:plan’s “orange spirit”, being the perfect combination of creativity and curiosity. Outgoing and fun, always up for a challenge, she works wholeheartedly to reach her goals.
